Join us for the 10th Annual Gingerbread Run,
and support YWCA Saskatoon!

Run, run, run, as fast as you can! On November 26, join us by running 5km for a great cause!

Brainsport is back with this year’s Gingerbread Run! We are excited to be back to an in person event!

The World’s Best Fun Run

For the past 10 years, the team at Brainsport has been hosting the iconic Gingerbread Run – donating the profits to Saskatoon charities. This year’s event will start and end at the YWCA Saskatoon.

We are excited to announce that this year, all race profits will go to support the YWCA Saskatoon. The YWCA Saskatoon is a welcoming and vibrant community-based organization that provides preventative and emergent services to women and their families. The YWCA Saskatoon has been a place for community members to find stability, grow together, overcome personal obstacles, and gain a new respect for their abilities and passions. Money raised stays in the province and goes directly towards funding YWCA Saskatoon programs and services.

Stay connected to the community by celebrating your run on social media using the hashtag #gingerbreadrun2023 and tagging the Brainsport instagram @brainsportyxe, and the YWCA Saskatoon instagram @ywca_saskatoon. If you tag us, we can share the love and support to other runners and community members in the city!

The registration fee is $50 and participants will receive an awesome souvenir Gingerbread Run bunnyhug at our package pickup day. Not running in the event, but wanting a souvenir bunnyhug? Not to worry, you can buy a bunnyhug without entering the race for just $40.

We appreciate your interest and support in this year’s event and the YWCA Saskatoon. The holiday season will be much brighter for women and children in need because of your involvement.

Once upon a time…

there lived a not-so-old man, a not-so-old woman, and a not-so-little boy. Actually, these three were all Brainsport employees—Brian, Lis and Tyler. And rather than baking bread, as the Gingerbread man folktale goes, they were sipping margaritas at Las Palapas.

The Jingle Bell Run had just been cancelled, and they had recently opened the doors on their brand new Brainsport location. With a vision to create the world’s best fun run, the three quickly came up with idea for the Gingerbread fun run. Once stumbled upon, the name seemed perfect—it was both a folktale about running and the most delicious winter treat.
